The firms primary concentration is in aerospace, business, energy and finance areas. The firm was founded by people from academia, in an effort to bring decades of their, and their peers, academic research results and rigorous problem solving approach to the industry. This synergetic mix of fundamental research and practical problems is what sets us apart from the rest, and helps solve some of the most challenging problems facing our clients.
People
The firm consists of a group of very talented and highly efficient professors, scientists and staff. Many of our employees or partners have very distinguished past track records and consist of professors, rocket scientists, mathematicians, computational scientists, quants and engineers, with degrees or appointments from or at MIT, Caltech, Princeton, Stanford and other top universities.
Company’s Name
SB is an abbreviation for “Science Based” or “Strongly Built”. Everything we do at SB Research is rigorous Science Based, of the relevant disciplines, with the ultimate goal of delivering a Strongly Built end product or service to our client and maximizing the value and success of our client’s business.
